For tenants

Something’s not right? Ask Cosmo.

Your landlord uses Kovely, so you can get answers and report problems any time, day or night. No app, no account, no password.

How to get started

What Cosmo can help with

  • House questions. Wi-Fi, heating, access, where the fuse box is, and how the appliances work.

  • Quick fixes. Simple, safe checks your landlord has set up, for things like a blocked drain or an appliance error code.

  • Reporting a problem. Describe it, add a photo, and Cosmo passes it to your landlord with everything they need.

  • Updates. Once a repair is booked, Cosmo keeps you posted in the same chat.

How it works

  1. 1Scan the QR code

Scan the QR code in your room, or open the link your landlord sent you.

  2. 2Tell Cosmo what’s wrong

Add photos if you can. It helps get the right person out first time.

  3. 3Cosmo takes it from there

If it’s not a quick fix, Cosmo writes it up for your landlord. Once they approve it, a contractor gets in touch to agree a time with you.

Emergencies

In an emergency, call first.

If you smell gas, call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999 straight away.

If anyone is in danger, call 999.

Cosmo isn’t an emergency service. It will tell you who to call and let your landlord know, but always call the emergency services first.

Your landlord’s still your landlord

Cosmo is there to get you answers faster, not to stand between you and your landlord. They’re still responsible for repairs, and you can still contact them directly. Cosmo just means you don’t have to wait for a reply to find out the Wi-Fi password.
